If you’re the type of Calgarian that keeps score, Calgary has been ahead of Edmonton in terms of Contra dance for a while now. But that’s about to change. Steven will be calling a dance in the Capital City later in October. If you know anyone who might want to attend, please feel free to pass the information along. There’s also a few of our crew who are going on up to lend some support.
October 21st at 7:00 at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 8424-95th Avenue which is in Cloverdale, not far from Downtown and not far from Calgary Trail. Tickets are $15 at the door.
This Month’s Video
Sometimes one wonders who or what inspires the titles of certain dances. This video is of “Cows Are Watching”, a dance Steven will be prompting. Cows? In Cowtown? Maybe.
